We've been doing dolls houses for several years and we've had a lot of four-poster beds, but this beats anything we've seen previously. The precise detail (including rails for curtains) and solid construction are exceptional, and the possibilities for finishing in stain, varnish, etc. are unlimited - most likely we will go for something that will keep the natural appearance of the wood. The accompanying bedding, which was not in the photo, turned out to be a deep pink plush mattress (a perfect fit to the base) and a matching bolster, and a red Morris-style paisley cover and two pillows to match that, all in perfect proportion. I don't know if this is the same for every customer or if the designs vary, but we're more than pleased with ours. This bed has our highest recommendation - many thanks to BCP.
