20x Individual tile-and-a-half tiles made from compressed fibre board. These tiles are generally used with roof tile strips made from the same material one tile-and-a-half tile would be used to finish the end of alternate rows to create a straight edge to rows of staggered tiles. The tiles should be glued into position on the dolls house roof using PVA adhesive and then painted with a slate or terracotta clay tile colour using suitable matt emulsion or acrylic paints. The finished tiles can be further enhanced by adding shading to the individual tiles and finishing with a clear matt varnish.
Tile Size
Tiles are 30mm wide for use with 20mm tiles. (1:12 scale). These tiles can also be used with 16mm roof tiles, but will need to be trimmed to size when fitting. 1:24 scale tiles are 15mm wide.
